Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel - Concert Hall

With Mediterrane Klanken symphoniaASSAI sets its sights on 20th-century masterpieces from France, Spain and Italy: music that found its origin in authentic folk cultures around the Mare Nostrum.

Continuing a successful partnership that started in September 2012, symphoniaASSAI builds this project in collaboration with the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel. During two concerts in the month of November/December, the outstanding young guitar player Maarten Vandenbemden will perform as soloist together with the orchestra in Joaquín Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez. Next to the concerto symphoniaASSAI will present three pearls of the Mediterranean symphonic repertoire: Ravel's Rapsodie Espagnole, Debussy's Danse and Respighi's Feste Romane.
