new cellist joins the ASSAI cello quartet

The ASSAI cello quartet is happy to announce the appointment of its newest member, Brian Howard.

Originally from New York, Brian has worked with a number of orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout the United States. He has been based in Belgium since 2012 where he works for the International School of Brussels. 

Brian's significant teachers include Catharina Meints and Desmond Hoebig of the Cleveland Orchestra, and Marc Johnson of the Vermeer Quartet. He holds degrees in cello performance and English literature from Oberlin Conservatory/College.

The members of ASSAI are looking forward to working and performing with Brian!
